For years, Best Buy and the Best Buy Foundation™ have been on a mission to advance tech equity and prepare young people for educational and career success through programs like Best Buy Teen Tech Centers™. In fact, the foundation has supported 1 million young people over the past decade — and it’s not done yet.
By bringing together a diverse network of partners to make an impact — including local community organizations, foundations, individual donors, and innovative companies like Meta, Bose, Google.org and more — we have shown what’s possible by joining forces. Today, the Best Buy Foundation supports a network of 59 Best Buy Teen Tech Centers across the U.S. and Canada (on the way to supporting 100 locations).
Starting in June, customers can make a tax-deductible contribution in support of the foundation when making a purchase at any Best Buy store, on BestBuy.com or via the Best Buy App. You can also make direct donations to the foundation, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, at www.BestBuyFoundation.org.

Last year, as part of this fundraising effort, customers donated over $7.5 million from May to October through their Best Buy purchases in support of the Best Buy Foundation. Best Buy customers have raised $21.5 million since donation campaigns first started in 2021.
What your donations support
With the support of donations, the foundation has provided more than $13 million in grants to organizations across the country that bring vitality and opportunity to their communities.
Donations also help expand programs like Best Buy Teen Tech Centers, a network of creative hubs where youth can explore their passions. At these centers, youth have access to cutting-edge technology, including tools for film production, augmented and virtual reality, and audio engineering. Teens also build connections with peers and mentors and explore activities that support school and career success.
With Best Buy Teen Tech Centers operating across the country, it’s inspiring to see all the amazing technology projects the young people have created in these spaces (like this virtual reality art). We’re excited to see what their future creations bring to life.
